Free Convert HD Video to AVI DIVX FLV MP4 Converter is a video converter. Don't let the name fool you, it is not free, not by a long shot. The application also has limited input support, you can only open AVI, MPEG, MP4, and VOB files, and can convert those to AVI, MPEG-4, WMV, VCD, SVCD, VOB, and 3GP. The converter does come with a few conversion profiles preloaded, for devices such as the iPod, iPhone, Zune, PSP, and Xbox 360.
Graphically, the application is quite simple and basic. It looks a lot like the user interface used by Microsoft Office. At the top of the screen are the conversion profiles. There you can select your format and if you click on the "profile" tab, you will be able to edit profiles and save them, if you upgrade to the paid version.
In my testing, I used an MP4 file and converted it to WMV to see how this converter worked. The file was converted fine and I could play it on Windows Media Player. When I was starting the conversion process, I got a pop-up window saying that the free version can only convert files partially and that the paid version was needed. I noticed three seconds were cut out of my video.
